8 Independence Day Events Around Bradenton and Sarasota

Get your red, white, and blue ready for events in and around Bradenton and Sarasota for Independence Day! Below are fun things to do around town that are sure to keep your holiday fun filled!

Sarasota

 

Celebrate the 4th of July at Sarasota Jungle Gardens July 2nd – July 4th with half off all children’s admissions!

 

Nathan Benderson Park will once again host fireworks on July 3rd. Gates will open at 4pm giving families a chance to picnic on the grass and view a spectacular fireworks show! There is a musical line up beginning at 5 pm and the fireworks will start at 9:30 pm!

 

Fireworks Spectacular over Sarasota Bay. Viewing is free anywhere along Bayfront Park as well as Island Park. Fireworks will begin around 9 pm on July 4th.

 

Siesta Key is holding their 28th Annual 4th of July Fireworks Display. Viewing is best anywhere south of Siesta Key Public Beach. Be sure to arrive early, as this is a very popular event. The show is set to start around 9 pm.

 

Bradenton

 

The Bradenton Marauders will have baseball and fireworks on July 3rd. You can’t get much more American than baseball and fireworks! Gates open at 4:30 pm. The game begins at 6:30 pm with post game fireworks!

 

Manatee River Fireworks on July 4th will be visible around 9 pm along the Bradenton Riverwalk on the Bradenton side,  as well as Sutton Park on the Palmetto Side.

 

Anna Maria Island

 

The Anna Maria Island Privateers will host their 4th of July Parade beginning at 10am. The parade runs the entire length of the island beginning at Coquina Beach. Everyone is welcomed to participate; you only need to wear red, white, and blue!

 

The Sandbar Restaurant is hosting their 32nd Annual Fireworks Spectacular on the north end of the island. Seating at the restaurant is first come, first served. Since it’s an island, free viewing of the fireworks is great anywhere on the beach after dark!
