Jessica Wishnew, M.D.
Dr. Jessica Wishnew is board-certified in Pediatrics by the American Academy of Pediatrics. She is a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine and completed her Pediatric residency at the Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh of UPMC. She completed a fellowship in Pediatric Hematology Oncology at Duke Children’s Hospital and Health Center in Durham, NC. She worked at Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital in St. Petersburg as an Attending Physician in the Pediatric Hematology-Oncology Department for five years before transitioning to outpatient General Pediatrics. She spent 5 years at Whole Child Pediatrics in Bradenton and joined the team at West Coast Pediatrics in August 2025. Dr. Wishnew resides with her husband, stepson, and dogs in Lakewood Ranch.

Kimberly Stitik, APRN – Nurse Practitioner
Kimberly is a Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner. Graduated in 1993 from Virginia Commonwealth University with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. She is also a graduate of the University of South Florida, holding a Master of Science in Nursing with a concentration in pediatrics. She has over 30 years of experience in pediatric nursing across various areas. She has dedicated her career to providing compassionate and complete care to her pediatric patients and their families.

Maria Walker, APRN – Nurse Practitioner
Maria Walker is a certified Family Nurse Practitioner. She attended St. Petersburg College, where she earned both her Associate of Science degree and her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree. She then worked as an emergency room critical care nurse while attending the University of Cincinnati, earning her Master of Science in Nursing in 2019 and becoming a Family Nurse Practitioner. Maria is a compassionate and skilled practitioner who has over 20 years of medical experience.

Renee Biehl, APRN – Nurse Practitioner
Renee is a certified Family Nurse Practitioner with a Masters in Nursing from Yale University and a Doctorate in Nursing Practice from the University of South Florida. She began her nursing career in adult medicine and has been caring for pediatric patients over the last 25 years. She loves working with children and feels the privilege to watch them grow with their families and within the community.

Michelle Jones – RN
My passion for taking care of children began when I worked as a CAN in a group home for disabled children. I attended college and graduated as an RN IN 1997. After graduation, I became a pediatric RN. I moved to Florida in 2009 and became a Hospice RN. In 2023, I returned to pediatric nursing at West Coast Pediatrics. WCP is my happy place, where I take care of little ones of all ages and their families.

Misty Newcomb – MA
I have been working as a medical assistant for 15+ years. I am so excited to be back in pediatrics and forming bonds with the patients and their families. I love working at West Coast Pediatrics.

Ana Cruz – LPN
Since the beginning of my nursing career, I have always loved working with Kids. With over two years of experience, I enjoy turning nervous moments into smiles and helping little patients feel brave and comfortable. Every day, I bring positive energy, patience, and a warm, friendly approach to the families I care for. I am honored to be a part of West Coast Pediatrics.
Jill Fernandez – Receptionist
As a receptionist at WCP I answer your phone calls, schedule appointments, handle check in and check outs. I love my job because of the friendly atmosphere we are able to maintain with each other, patients and their families.
Adriana Torres – Receptionist
I have worked as a medical receptionist for four years, and now I work in pediatrics, which I love. Very happy to continue my journey here at West Coast Pediatrics.
Holly Terrell – Office Administrator
I have been in the medical field for many years and am excited to now work in pediatrics. I believe in the care West Coast Pediatrics provides to our patients. It is a joy to work with this team and assist in making sure our patients and families experiences at West Coast Pediatrics are positive.
