Camping With Kids – How to Prepare for a Camping Trip

Camping with kids comes with a whole other set of rules. So even if you’ve been a camper your whole life, there are things you want to be sure you take along with you to ensure a fun safe camping trip for the whole family.

There are so many different things you need to think of when you’re camping with kids for the first time.

The last thing you want to happen is to get out in the woods and find out you forgot something, so print out this Check List to ensure you haven’t forgotten a thing! It could also be a good idea to do a test run in your backyard. Not only will you know you have everything, but it will give the kids a little taste of what it will feel like to sleep outside.

What to pack when camping with kids:

  • Jackets, hats, gloves (depending on where you’re camping)
