Fall is Full of Pumpkins in Bradenton and Sarasota
It might not feel like it, but fall is here! Fall is a great time to visit your local farm for some fun hayrides, corn mazes, and pumpkin picking of course.
Here’s our list of some fun pumpkin festivals in the area.
Annual Fruitville Grove Pumpkin Fest – 7410 Fruitville Rd, Sarasota, FL 34240
This festival takes place every weekend in October from 10am -5pm. Admission, parking, the petting zoo, playground, live music, decorated photo spots, are all free! There are individual rides and game activity booths including a rock wall, bounce house, and pumpkin painting which are all available for different fees ranging from $2.00 to $7.00.
Please be aware that this is an outdoor event on a FARM.
Most of the vendors accept credit cards; some accept only cash, so there will be an ATM on location.
27th Annual Hunsader Farms Pumpkin Festival – 5500 C.R. 675, Bradenton, FL 34211
The Hunsader Farms Pumpkin Festival takes place the last three weekends in October from 9am – 5pm. Admission is $10.00 per person with children ages 10 and under are free. Parking is $5.00.
Admission includes craft show, live music, live shows, hayrides, petting zoo, scarecrow displays, the barnyard playground, and the always fun frog jumping championship. For additional fees, there are pony rides, a corn maze, both a child’s and a larger train ride, rock wall as well as pumpkins, fresh farm roasted corn and other food and fresh produce. Pumpkin Patch Express – 12210 83rd St East, Parrish, FL 34219
October 20, 21, 27, and 28
This is a one-of-a-kind pumpkin patch experience. The express train of the Florida Railroad Museum will depart for a 2 hour excursion which includes a stop at their Pumpkin Patch! There will be many activities available, and each child will pick out one pumpkin to take home, included in the price of your ticket! Tickets prices vary and must be purchased in advance.
