May is for the Arts
May is for the Arts
If you like sand and music then May is the month for you. Have your children explore their artistic sides with movement, music, and art.
Drum Circle
If you haven’t been to a drum circle, you are really missing something fun and magical. Drum circles form about an hour or two before sunset. You don’t have to be a percussionist. You don’t even have to dance. It’s fun to sit and take in the sounds while witnessing some of the most beautiful sunsets around. We have four opportunities a week to experience drum circles. Have the kids bring their hula hoop if they have one. They’ll have a blast!
- Siesta Key Drum Circle is every Sunday
- Nokomis Beach Drum Circle is on both Wednesday and Saturday.
- Anna Maria Island Drum Circle is on Friday. (At Manatee Public Beach)
